Red Deer Minor Baseball (RDMBA) is proud to present our new logos and imagery as we transition to our new Red Deer Rangers name.
In order to ensure the re-brand was done skillfully and professionally, the RDMBA Board of Directors chose to engage with a local company, Redpoint Creative, to complete the re-brand process. While our red, blue, and white colours remain consistent with our past, the Rangers moniker has provided us the opportunity to develop an entire range of brand marks. With our new identity, all members of our association can be proud to represent Red Deer Minor Baseball in our community, and throughout the baseball world.
The RDMBA board of directors was honoured to discuss our transition from Braves to Rangers with Chief Wilton Littlechild recently, as well as next steps to advance our indigenous reconciliation efforts. Chief Littlechild is a Canadian Lawyer and Cree Chief who was a Grand Chief of the Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations and a Member of Parliament. Chief Littlechild has shown tremendous leadership throughout his career as an accomplished lawyer, respected politician, and exceptional athlete. He has worked tirelessly to promote human rights, in particular those of Indigenous peoples. Additional details will be forthcoming regarding this important initiative on reconciliation.
Just in time for Christmas shopping, our RDMBA online store will be opening, November 1st, and will remain open for 2 weeks. Additional Christmas Store details will be provided in an email on Nov 1 along with the link to the store.
Please join us in celebrating this new chapter in Red Deer Baseball.
Thank you,
RDMBA
