Now Accepting 18U-13U AAA Head Coach Applications
Red Deer Minor Baseball Association is now accepting AAA applications for our 2025 season.
Deadline to apply - Friday, November 15th ,2024
Roles Available:
Head Coach of the RDMBA 18U BAEL CarStar team (16-19 years of age).
Head Coach of the RDMBA 18U AAA Porttin Pipeline team (16-19 years of age).
Head Coach of the RDMBA 15U AAA Archon team (14 and 15 years of age).
Head Coach of the RDMBA 13U AAA Mr. Suds team (12 and 13 years of age).
Position Responsibilities:
To coach, encourage, develop and mentor our athletes in accordance to the policies and codes of conduct and ethics of RDMBA and Baseball Alberta. To adhere to the league schedules and attend all mandatory events set forth by RDMBA and Baseball Alberta. To represent RDMBA respectfully, and with pride, setting a positive example for your players at all times when in contact with opposing teams, officials and spectators.

Strong Communication/Leadership Skills:
The ability to clearly explain techniques and strategies, understanding that players skill levels and learning styles vary, and may need different approaches in their development. Listening to your players and acknowledge their concerns. Leading your team by example.
Encouraging Attitude/Emphasis on Sportsmanship:
Fostering a positive environment that boosts players' confidence, development and enjoyment of the game. Instilling values of teamwork, respect, and comradery in players. Inspiring players through enthusiasm and a genuine love for baseball.
Knowledge of the Game:
Possess a solid understanding of baseball rules, strategies, and techniques and the ability to effectively relay that knowledge to your players.
Organizational Skills:
Possess strong time management skills, planning practices and games efficiently, managing schedules, and keeping track of player development. Providing the team Manager with all pertinent information to ensure parents are informed.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be a Provincially Certified NCCP Coach as a minimum, and be willing to attain any and all additional required certifications. Successful applicants would also be required to submit a Criminal Record Check.
Applicants that have played and/or coached at a post secondary level would have a strong advantage.
Salary: Will be discussed with Head Coach applicants and will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
