All regular-season rules will remain the same except for the following:
Time limits:
11U & 13U Divisions: There will be no new inning to start after 2:00 from the first pitch.
15U Division: There will be no new inning to start after 2:15 from the first pitch.
The last inning in every game will be an open inning; all other innings will have a 5-run (11U/13U) or 6-run (15U) maximum
A mercy rule will be in place.
11U/13U: If a team is up by 10 runs after 4 ½ innings, the game is over 15U: If a team is up by 10 runs after 5 ½ innings, the game is over
Weekly pitch limits will reset for the start of the tournament
11U: Pitchers may not pitch more than three innings in the tournament
13U/15U: Pitchers may not pitch more than four innings in the tournament
If a game is tied at the end of regulation, either end of innings limit or time, the following procedure will be implemented during extra innings.
Each team will begin the extra inning (and any subsequent necessary extra innings) with a base runner on first and second, no outs. The last two outs from the previous inning will be the baserunners on first and second base.
The batting order of the extra inning or any subsequent innings will be determined by how the previous inning ended.
The traditional system of the visiting team hitting in the top of the inning and the home team hitting in the bottom of the inning will remain in effect until a winner is determined.
Concession
There will be a concession available all weekend at the West Park fields
The group running the concession will be fundraising for their RDPSD Ultimate Science Trip
