Red Deer 13U AAA Braves had a successful weekend, finishing on a high note. Although they started with a loss to North Shore Lions (6-4) on Friday, they bounced back with two wins on Saturday against Pembina Hills, MB (3-2) and Saskatoon Cardinals (11-1), securing first place in pool play. In the semi-final against powerhouse Cloverdale, BC, Jack Schafer pitched exceptionally well and our team's strong defense contributed to a 5-3 victory. The gold medal game was challenging, but the Braves fought hard until the final out. Overall, it was a great weekend for the players and families to end the season.
