Clayton Wandler Baseball Alberta Junior Umpire of the year!

The Red Deer baseball community is fortunate to have Baseball Alberta’s Junior Umpire of the Year, right here in Red Deer. Clayton Wandler begun his umpiring journey just 7 years ago, working his way up to a level 3, respected umpire, for all divisions up to, and including, 18U and Senior AAA. Clayton has been awarded assignments including 15U AA Westerns, 15U AAA Provincials as well as his first time as plate ump in the Sunburst League this past season. Having been mentored by some great umpires in the game, Clayton has chosen to mentor our upcoming, first and second year umpires in return, giving back to our great game. Red Deer Minor Baseball Association congratulates Clayton Wandler and looks forward to seeing him on the diamond in 2022.
