Mosquito AA1 Dicks Auto Braves have Successful Season

Dick’s Auto 11U AA Braves wrapped up their season with a silver medal at the Baseball Alberta Tier 1 provincials.  The Braves lost to the Parkland Twins in the final after defeating Parkland and Grande Prairie in the round robin, and Sherwood Park in the semi-final.  Carter Skjonsberg, Daril Rodriguez, George Monaghan, and Casey Sliva received Player of the Game balls with George Monaghan receiving the Tournament MVP award chosen by the host committee.

Lots of tears after the last game, a few because we lost, but most because one of the best spring/summer seasons of our lives was over.   Lasting friendships were formed.  The boys finished a very successful season with a phenomenal 28-2 record and finished with a +243 Run Differential for the year.  They also won the prestigious Sussex All-star tournament in Kamloops, BC over the Canada Day Long weekend.  Thank you to Bubba, JDD, D-Rod, Jorge, Matty, Cardi C, Messi, O-Show, Ricky, Keats, Nater, & T-Dot for an amazing season.
