Following the resounding success of the 2022 tournament, the Rawlings Cup is set to make its highly anticipated return in 2023. This showcase tournament will once again bring together some of the top talent at the 16U level from across Alberta. Additionally, this year's event will introduce a new category for 14U players.
The tournament's main focus is to offer associations a valuable platform for showcasing their most talented players. This will enable participants to gain exposure and attract the attention of Baseball Alberta scouts. The ultimate goal is to potentially secure opportunities for selected players to participate in the Western Canada Prospects Series (only 16U) against BC, Manitoba & Saskatchewan. The Prospects Series will take place the following weekend and will serve as the first step in identifying players for the 2024 Baseball Canada Cup.
