2019 NCCP Coach Certification Clinics
RDMBA encourages volunteers to coach our young athletes. Coaches can have a positive impact on our players and can develop long lasting friendships. If you have the desire to lead our kids with passion and encouragement in a positive manner you can contact the RDMBA office for more information.
To find out what courses you need to have to coach at a certain level there is an excellent tool on the Baseball Canada Website under Coaches Corner. You just follow the instructions in Coaching goals and put in what level you will be coaching and whether it is competitive or not and it will outline what is needed for certification.

RDMBA "A" (Rec) Head Coach Requirements:
T-Ball, Rally Cap and Rookie coaches are asked, but not required, to complete the "Respect in Sports for Coaches" this course is available online.
Mosquito, Pee Wee and Bantam coaches are required to complete the "Respect in Sports for Coaches" as well as asked, but not required, to take the "Coach Initiation in Baseball Online Module" both of these are available online.

Upon submitting a receipt, RDMBA will reimburse Red Deer coaches for the courses you are required to take for the division you are coaching.
Red Deer Minor Baseball Association requires Criminal Record Checks for all coaches, Head Coach and Assistants, for both Rep and Rec.

Saturday, April 13th 12:30pm Absolutes Clinic
Saturday, April 13th 5:00pm Planning Clinic
Sunday, April 14th 8:30am Pitching and Catching Clinic
Sunday April 14th 1:00pm Strategies Clinic
You register for these clinics through the Baseball Alberta website or through the NCCP website.
The cost is $75.00/clinic/person, and you bring this payment with you to your first clinic (cheques are to be made out to Red Deer Minor Baseball Assoc.).
All Coach Certification Clinics will be held at Red Deer College (100 College BLVD.)
